About The Position

The University of Akron is seeking Part-Time Faculty for its ADN Program, specializing in OB, Pediatrics, and Mental Health. This role involves delivering in-person classroom instruction, developing and implementing lectures and learning materials, creating and grading assignments and exams, and maintaining regular office hours to support student learning. Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited university
  • Current, unencumbered Ohio RN license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in specialty area
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and clinical partners

Nice To Haves

  • Prior teaching or clinical instruction experience
  • Experience working with ADN students or in academic settings
