Part-Time EI - SEIT - SETSS Special Education Teacher - QSAC Education
About The Position
QSAC is hiring part-time NYS Certified Special Education Teachers for our home and community based EI, SEIT and SETSS programs (NYC boroughs). We offer flexible schedules with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week, but can increase the case load to 20+ hours . All programmatic instruction is designed and implemented according to the principles and procedures of a pplied b ehavior a nalysis (ABA). Looking for more than just a job? SEIT Teachers with availability during school hours are an urgent need.
Requirements
- New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities (B-2 or All Grades)
- Initial or Professional certification required
- Demonstrate patience and ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures to enhance independence and quality of life
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
- Commitment to company values and adherence to poli cies
Nice To Haves
- Experience with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and applied behavior analysis is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
