Primary Responsibilities Summary Function: Provides skilled administrative assistance and assumes minor administrative duties within framework of established policies. Scope: Independently coordinates routine office or departmental clerical work according to established procedures and may process varied, complex or large volumes of material. Duties Essential: Performs tasks using computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and database, social media and website, student record software, and adobe suite; keeps various administrative, student, and financial records; handles and maintains confidential information; provides interdepartmental, student and public facing communication for the department, coordinates with the communication team and enrollment management on the design and implementation of promotional materials, compiles complex student reports which may include research, calculation, and composition, some of which may be reported to various grant entities; requisitions materials; organizes departmental travel and events including field trips and special programs, serves as a student service representative in the department, provides students and general public with information; may handle money. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. Other duties as assigned. Non-Essential: Departmental duties as assigned. Supervision Received: General instructions and work periodically reviewed by department head. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
