About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Part Time Dietitian at Baylor Inpatient Rehab (BIR) in Frisco, TX. The schedule includes Fridays and Rotating Weekends, with Additional Hours Available Depending on Business Needs. Baylor Inpatient Rehab has 42 beds and provides rehabilitation care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic and other debilitating conditions. The role involves assessing patient's nutritional status, developing individualized nutrition plans, providing education and counseling to patients and their families, collaborating with healthcare teams on clinical protocols, monitoring patient progress, and staying up-to-date with the latest research in clinical nutrition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
• Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
