About The Position

Military Sales and Strategy Bring your experience and ideas and help us provide world-class support to multiple teams across Bell and Textron. You’ll work with the Office Manager, Bell Program Managers and the US Government to ensure seamless operations and meetings as we develop one-of-a-kind aircraft. This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. You’ll find yourself engaging with industry leaders and leaders within the US Government. The primary focus of this position is to assist in the overall operation of the office, serve as the point of contact for visitors to Bell’s Huntsville operations, provide support regarding office and conference room equipment, maintain the facility’s appearance, safety and security, assist managing Bell’s memberships and Brand in the Greater Tennessee River Valley/North Alabama area, and to provide administrative and business process support to the resident and visiting Bell team.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business, Aviation, or related field preferred. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior administrative experience is required, including tasks such as filing, word processing, and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly calendar management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work together with team members to meet project requirements is of the upmost of importance.
  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision for normal office functions and to support conferences and visitors.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint.
  • Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings/conferences and site visits including lodging, transportation, security approval, chaperoning, and any other support activities.
  • Manage and/or maintain Bell memberships, sponsorships, local organizational relationships, Brand engagement, and participate or coordinate participation in local organizational events, which support the Bell Strategic Pursuit mission.
  • Continually monitor Military Sales and Strategy and the Bell Huntsville office operating procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise contractors (maintenance, repair, housekeeping, facilities upgrade, additional space, etc.).
  • Organize Bell-themed merchandise donations for US Government program offices within ethics guidelines and industry non-profits events.
  • Coordinate and participate in Bell-sponsored programs and events in the Tennessee Valley area.
  • Assist with invoice processing and budget control.
