Part Time College for Kids Assistant
About The Position
The College for Kids program provides continuing education programming with courses for young learners in various age groups. This year-round programming gives students a chance to learn new skills and explore their interests in an exciting, hands-on environment. The College for Kids Assistant will provide support to the Facilitator with all hands-on activities by aiding in classroom setup, prepping pre-planned activities, assisting students with experiences, and cleaning up at the end of each session. The College for Kids Assistant will provide guidance and redirection during transitions, meals, and throughout the implementation of hands-on experiences and activities planned by the College for Kids Facilitator.
Requirements
- Must pass comprehensive background screening
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with young learners
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse age groups
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adherence to all program policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
