Requirements

  • A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification would be preferred
  • A copy of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray is required
  • Drivers license with insured and reliable automobile (preferred)
  • A minimum of one year of documented experience required
  • Pass a drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Hoyer lift experience is a plus
  • Dementia/ Hospice including end-of-life experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
  • Provide transportation if needed to medical appointments, shopping or other activities
