Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center – Bakersfield, CA Shifts Available: 12-Hour Shifts Salary Range: $18-$20/hr BOE Status: Full-Time / Part-Time Come Grow with Us at Kern River Transitional Care Center! We’re currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care. Position Overview: As a CNA, you will provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting. You will promote independence and dignity while maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for our residents.
Requirements
- Valid California CNA certification in good standing
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADLs and restorative care
- Observe and report changes in resident condition
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies
- Support residents’ rights and individuality
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support
- Use safe lifting techniques and follow infection control procedures
