About The Position

BASIC FUNCTION : Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Chemistry courses up to 10 hours/week Organize and teach all levels of Chemistry classes Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning; Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses; Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester; Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired

Requirements

• Master’s in chemistry OR Bachelor’s in chemistry or biochemistry AND Master’s in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology, or geochemistry OR the equivalent (Must apply through YCCD’s Equivalency Application Process)
