About The Position

We are seeking friendly, outgoing people with exceptional guest service skills who are available to work flexible part-time hours and are passionate about serving in both a fast-paced and moderate-paced environment. This position is responsible for assisting in all Gateway Café & Food Services operations, including front & back of house operations, serving guests efficiently with food & drinks orders, café sales, restocking, cleaning. Becoming proficient in learning cup codes & knowing recipes is a requirement of this position.

Requirements

• Must be good with people and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings & special events
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
• All Staff must be a member or become a member of Gateway Church upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Secure a Food Handler's Certificate, which will be supplied by the Café & Food Services team
• Work with a sense of urgency and are highly motivated
• Restocking
• Cleaning
• Learning cup codes & recipes
• Adhering to all health & food safety regulations and quality controls
• Punctuality and reliability
• Assist in Café or with Food Services as needed
