About The Position

The Associate, Global Programs will serve as the primary point of contact for NFTE's international licensed partners and network members, fostering strong relationships and supporting successful program implementation across our global network. This part-time position (estimated 10-20 hours per week) has potential to grow into a full-time role with expanded strategic responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in international programs, nonprofit partnerships, or related field
  • Experience in education, youth development, or entrepreneurship sectors
  • Previous experience managing international partnerships or clients
  • Multilingual capabilities (Spanish, French, Arabic, or Mandarin strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Responsibilities

  • Partner Relationship Management (60-70% of time)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for licensed partners and network members or for up to 100 relationships through our growing partner network
  • Conduct regular check-ins on global schedule based on partner’s time zone, managing agenda and follow up: Licensed partners (new): Monthly meetings Licensed partners (established): Quarterly meetings or as-needed based on strategic initiatives Network members: Three alignment check-ins per year
  • Build deep knowledge of each partner organization: their context, challenges, opportunities, and program status
  • Proactively identify and communicate partner needs, problems, and opportunities to the NFTE team
  • Provide responsive support and problem-solving for partner questions and challenges
  • Facilitate effective communication between partners and relevant NFTE team members, including executing program needs to meet grant deliverables.
  • Coordinate participation in the World Series of Innovation and the World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. This requires occasional domestic and/or international travel as needed to coordinate programming. This may be limited as budget allows.
  • Program Support & Implementation Guidance (20-25% of time)
  • Support partners in successful implementation of NFTE programming
  • Identify opportunities for program growth and expansion at partner sites
  • Connect partners with appropriate resources, tools, and NFTE team expertise
  • Report partner needs and updates internally to team members as representative of their needs and status
  • Track partner engagement and program milestones, such as sites, teachers, and student numbers effectively in organization tools including SharePoint and Salesforce
  • Facilitate peer learning and connection opportunities among partners when appropriate
  • Project-Based Initiatives (10-15% of time)
  • Coordinate partner contributions for annual Global Impact Report (launched in Q4) and support of other Global Innovation Network initiatives
  • Support development and maintenance of partner Network communication platforms/resources
  • Assist with occasional travel for partner trainings, program launches, or exchange programs (limited, as budget allows)
  • Contribute to development of partner-facing materials and resources
  • Support other global programs initiatives as assigned
