About The Position

Are you interested in investments, economic development, and international business? Do you enjoy working with data, people, and events? WTC Utah is seeking a Part-Time Analyst, Investments to support our investment attraction efforts and provide analytical and operational support across investment-related initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, international relations, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong interest in investments, economic development, or international business.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage data accurately and maintain organized records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
• Comfortable learning and using CRM systems and productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Office).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with data entry, CRM systems, or event coordination.
• Familiarity with investment concepts, entrepreneurship, or economic development.
• Experience working or interning in a nonprofit, public-sector, or mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Help attract investment to Utah by supporting presentations and outreach that communicate the “Why Utah” story to international audiences.
• Assist with matchmaking efforts by helping connect investors with Utah companies aligned to their interests and investment goals.
• Manage and maintain internal database information, including data entry, updates, and reporting in systems such as Salesforce.
• Support the planning and execution of investment-related events, including agenda development, managing reservations, and coordinating meetings.
• Participate in WTC Utah events to gain experience, build professional networks, and support organizational initiatives.
• Assist other departments and projects across the organization as priorities shift.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
