PRIMARY PURPOSE: To assist Adult Education instructor with students completing Career Readiness and WAGE™ curriculum and GED preparation coursework and assessments.

Responsibilities
- Conduct small group or individual classroom activities based on pre-developed instructor lessons.
- Assist with instruction and supervision of students in the classroom.
- Maintain and retain supplies and equipment purchased for use in completing classroom responsibilities.
- Participate in or complete required staff development activities to improve job-related skills.
- Provide documentation of professional development records as requested by the director.
- Foster collegiality & teambuilding among staff; participate actively in the decision-making process.
- Collaborate with the director/staff to recognize student excellence and achievement.
- Maintain a classroom environment in which learners actively participate and show respect for one another.
- Use technology to instruct students, submit online training, and to retrieve student data and scores.
- Assist with routine classroom record keeping.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
- Recruit students from local areas to enroll in Adult Education.
- Recruit business and industry leaders from local areas to support the UAHT Adult Education program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
