About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Part-Time Office Administrator to support a time-sensitive compliance project and provide ongoing administrative assistance. The primary focus of this role is the successful preparation, submission, and follow-up required to secure the 2026 Tax Residency Certificate (Form 8802) and renew the business license, along with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in California business, tax, and compliance procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage strict deadlines independently
  • Strong written communication and follow-up skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Tax Residency Certificates, Form 8802, and business license renewal processes is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Tax Residency Certificate (Form 8802) – 2026 Manage the end-to-end application process, including:
  • Gathering required documentation and information
  • Completing and reviewing forms accurately
  • Submitting the application to the relevant authority
  • Monitoring progress and responding to queries from the issuing body
  • Business License Renewal Handle the business license renewal process, ensuring all updates are filed correctly and submitted on time.
  • Administrative & Liaison Support Serve as a liaison with external institutions such as the IRS, insurance providers, and other relevant agencies as directed
  • Handle related correspondence, phone calls, and email communications
  • Support general administrative duties, including data entry, file organization, document tracking, and scheduling
