About The Position

Assists with maintaining beautiful, clean and safe city park facilities, grounds and landscaping maintenance of city properties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs maintenance and upkeep of city parks and properties including lawn care, restroom maintenance, ornamental planting areas and playgrounds. May also assist with preparing ball diamonds, sports fields and assist with cemetery maintenance and operations.
Operates a variety of types of small and light equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, pruners and various hand tools.

Requirements

• Must pass drug test & criminal background check.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and understand and follow directions
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to quickly learn and perform the necessary lawn care and facility maintenance duties and skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Utah Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
