Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
  • Valid Class A CDL driver's license (or the ability to obtain one). Paid CDL Training Program available to new hires that do not currently hold a CDL.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and readiness to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is highly desirable, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments
  • Mowing, trimming, seeding, and aerating turf areas
  • Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety and enjoyment
  • Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections
  • Operating equipment like mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers
  • Supporting special events, festivals, and snow removal operations
