What You'll Do As part of our Parks Maintenance team, you'll help maintain and enhance O'Fallon's parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, pavilions, lakes, and green spaces. Your responsibilities will include: Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments Mowing, trimming, seeding, and aerating turf areas Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections Operating equipment such as mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers Supporting special events, festivals, and snow removal operations What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED 1–3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) – Paid CDL Training Program available Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus Why You'll Love This Job Work outdoors in one of Missouri's premier park systems Make a visible difference in your community every day Gain hands-on experience with a variety of equipment and projects Be part of a supportive team that values hard work and community pride Enjoy excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement Apply Today! Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
  • Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) – Paid CDL Training Program available
  • Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus
