Job Summary: The In-Field Parking Supervisor oversees parking operations and supervises parking enforcement officers and attendants in the field. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with parking regulations, and providing leadership to the parking team. The In-Field Parking Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining order, maximizing parking efficiency, and delivering excellent customer service to patrons. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: • Supervise parking enforcement officers and attendants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to policies and procedures. • Assign duties and schedules to parking team members, monitoring work performance, and providing feedback to promote productivity and professionalism. • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer service in all interactions with staff and patrons. Parking Operations Management: • Coordinate parking enforcement activities, patrol schedules, and deployment of personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage of designated parking areas. • Monitor parking facilities and enforce parking regulations, including issuing citations, addressing violations, and resolving customer complaints or disputes. • Conduct regular inspections of parking facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and operational issues, coordinating with maintenance staff or contractors for resolution. Customer Service: • Interact with patrons and address inquiries, complaints, or concerns related to parking regulations, payment methods, or facility access, demonstrating professionalism and empathy. • Provide assistance and information to customers regarding parking options, directions, and amenities, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Reporting and Documentation: • Maintain accurate records of parking enforcement activities, including citations issued, warnings given, and complaints received, utilizing electronic reporting systems or paper logs. • Prepare daily activity reports summarizing patrol routes, enforcement actions, and noteworthy incidents for review by management. Training and Development: • Conduct training sessions and workshops for parking enforcement staff to enhance their knowledge of parking regulations, customer service skills, and enforcement techniques. • Stay informed about changes in parking laws, regulations, and technology, providing updates and guidance to staff as needed to ensure compliance and efficiency.
