About The Position

Position Summary Reporting to the Parking Manager, the Parking Supervisor will manage day-to-day event parking, transportation at Venue, Iowa State University. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must have one (1) year previous experience.
  • Core customer communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.
  • Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to legally operate vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain core values while working on property.
  • Inspect parking lots several times throughout day.
  • Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests.
  • Assist manager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow.
  • Assist Manager with traffic management program and creating Traffic Command Center in SOC monitoring real-time parking data.
  • Assist Manager with enforcement of employee parking program.
  • Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for entirety of event.
  • Ensure campus is set up and lots are ready for event.
  • Report traffic incidents in lots to manager.
  • Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations.
  • Perform inventory management.
  • Assist Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquires and investigate complaints/concerns.
  • Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
