To provide customer service for parking patrons; provide security/safety functions; patrol lots and garages and enforce parking rules and regulations; perform leadwork responsibilities and supervise Parking Specialists in the absence of the supervisor; ensure parking fees are collected and parking rules and regulations are adhered to; provide routine maintenance on meters and signs; perform related work. Boise State University’s Department of Public Safety is responsible for more than ”people safety.” In addition to university Security, our team includes the university's Emergency Management Department, Transportation (Shuttle buses and the Cycle Learning Center) and Parking, and Integrated Security Technology.
