About The Position
Seasonal Work, Play, Get Paid, and Enjoy the Perks! We are currently looking for a parking attendant to join us this winter season on the mountain! Snowshoe, when you first hear the name, instinctually everyone's thoughts immediately settle on winter sports. While it's true that in 1974 Snowshoe Mountain nestled its roots in West Virginia's Cheat Mountain range as a small ski town, we've grown into quite the outdoor adventure mecca. With 11,000 acres of explorable terrain, a legendary bike park, three unique ski areas, and activities like paddle boarding, RZR tours, snowmobiling, snowtubing, music festivals, and international competitive events; the options are endless for anyone willing to embrace our Forever Wild lifestyle. Here on the mountain, we believe to provide the best guest experience you must live that experience yourself...so we work hard, play harder, and get paid doing what we love!
Requirements
- Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Direct vehicles to and from parking spaces
- Guide guests and employees to correct parking locations, avoiding improper or illegal areas
- Monitor gates and access to parking areas
- Manage access for deliveries, shuttles, emergency, and construction vehicles
- Collect, reconcile, and deposit parking fees
- Prevent theft and vandalism of parked vehicles
- Patrol and maintain cleanliness in parking areas
- Assist with resort and amenity information
- Oversee cleanliness, snow removal, and maintenance at village bus stop
- Dispose of trash and contribute to team efforts
