Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Location: Lafayette Garage (One Avenue DeLafayette in Boston, MA 02111) Shift & Schedule: Saturday/Sunday/Holidays 3:00pm - 11:00pm Pilgrim Parking is currently hiring Attendants/Garage Monitors for part-time opportunities to start immediately. What we're looking for: Direct patrons where to park. Monitor facility capacity and adjust flow of traffic as necessary to access available parking capacity May assist with cashiering responsibilities. Which may include completing the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets. Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit. Perform hourly walk-throughs of the facility inspecting all stairways, parking decks and public/non-public areas. Patrol Parking Garage Property - Stairways, elevators, parking levels and outside areas. Test access control equipment. Enforce parking rules, issue tickets and violations as necessary. Monitor camera monitors for property. Complete the daily shift paperwork of activities and incidents. Instruct trespassers to leave the property. Promptly notify Management and/or Authorities of Escalated issues requiring attention and or intervention Maintain a neat and orderly booth at all times, free of debris and trash with clean windows void of unapproved company posters or decorative hangings.

Requirements

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
