About The Position

The Park Attendant is mainly responsible for park cleanliness and guest safety. This person must be comfortable communicating with guests as individuals or in large groups. The ability to enforce zoo rules and policies is important as well as the ability to communicate in a personable way with guests when answering queries. Weekends are required.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years old.
Must be able to work as part of a team.
Must have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, holidays and evenings.
Must have the ability to work independently
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Florida State Driver License and must be age 21 to drive personal or zoo owned motor vehicle for zoo business.

Responsibilities

Monitor trash receptacles throughout the zoo
Clean and remove debris / trash from playground areas
Clean signs and graphics.
Monitor restroom cleanliness and restock supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness of rental equipment, coin machines and fish feeders
Clean and remove debris from Safari Canyon area.
Enforce zoo rules and regulations.
Act as a source of information for guests.
Monitor parking lot.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
