About The Position

The Parent Child Assistance Program (PCAP) Supervisor provides leadership, administrative, and clinical oversight to PCAP case management staff to ensure high-quality, compliant services for high-risk clients and their families. In partnership with the PCAP Director, this role oversees staff supervision, training, and performance; participates in personnel decisions; supports case consultation and documentation; and conducts quality assurance activities to meet program and contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience working with high-risk populations
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience specifically related to prenatal substance abuse
  • Valid drivers license and insurance, along with 5 years’ licensed driving experience required
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and carry out assignments from management staff with minimal direction.
  • Ability to analyze situations and make decisions that moderately impact the immediate work unit.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize job duties effectively and timely, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, and communicate orally.
  • Physical requirements for this position include hearing, seeing, smelling, speaking, feeling, reaching, pinching, and repetitive motions.
  • This position requires standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
  • This position may require exerting up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly staff meetings including client staffing, training, and administrative issues
  • Arrange for ongoing staff training opportunities in order to enhance job performance and improve staff retention
  • PARTICIPATE WITH THE AGENCY HOLDING THE PCAP CONTRACT IN MAKING PERSONNEL DECISIONS INVOLVING THE SELECTION OF PROJECT STAFF
  • RECOMMEND HIRING, DISMISSALS, DISCIPLINING ACTIONS, AND POSITION ALLOCATIONS
  • WORK WITH PCAP DIRECTOR TO CLINICALLY SUPERVISE A CONTRACTUAL NUMBER OF CASE MANAGERS TO SERVE UP TO A CONTRACTUAL NUMBER OF ENROLLED HIGH RISK CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES
  • WORK WITH PCAP DIRECTOR TO CONDUCT BI-MONTHLY INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISION WITH EACH CASE MANAGER TO REVIEW CASES, MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS, PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT, DOCUMENT PROGRESS, AND MONITOR DATA COLLECTION AND CASE NOTES
  • CONDUCT QUARTERLY CHART FILE AUDITS
