About The Position

The Parcel Shipping Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely movement of equipment through our warehouse and ecommerce sites. This position is responsible for handling all aspects of small package and parcel shipping — from packing and staging odd-sized and fragile industrial equipment to verifying part numbers and inspecting quality pre-shipment. In addition, the role supports our ecommerce/eBay by fulfilling online orders, assisting customers, and helping resolve issues. The Parcel Shipping Associate acts as a link between the warehouse floor and online sales, keeping inventory flowing smoothly, accurately, and safely.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Customer service skills: problem-solving, issue resolution, and professional communication.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying parts and paperwork.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Nice To Haves

  • Thorough knowledge of industrial equipment a plus
  • Familiarity with SpeedyPacker or similar packaging equipment preferred.
  • Experience with eBay or other e-commerce platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift to pick and move equipment.
  • Pack equipment using SpeedyPacker, stretch wrap, banding, and other protective materials.
  • Handle odd-sized and used industrial equipment with care, ensuring secure shipments.
  • Pull, pick, and stage items accurately for shipping.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality of outgoing items.
  • Inspect equipment for defects or damage and report issues.
  • Assist with receiving inbound deliveries, including triaging equipment for listing.
  • Support additional warehouse duties such as inventory audits, listings, and general organization.
  • Provide customer service support, including resolving order issues, coordinating shipping details, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with ecommerce operations: monitoring orders, answering buyer questions, and helping resolve disputes or returns as needed.
