About The Position

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants is currently seeking a Small Parcel Shipping Clerk. This position is responsible for preparing small packages to ship, assisting with facility cleaning, and special projects. Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Prefer two (2) years experience in small package shipping and receiving operations preferably in the field of hazardous materials.

Nice To Haves

Certified forklift driver
knowledge of Haz-mat Federal Regulations
UPS air restriction
International shipping regulations

Responsibilities

Promotes positive internal and external customer service by providing timely and accurate shipping services.
Checking that materials are available for customer orders.
Checking that authorization for shipping is complete and accurate.
Packing and wrapping materials for shipment.
Assists in warehouse operations office as needed.
Improves facility safety and appearance by maintaining a clean work environment.
Shares responsibility for cleaning tasks.
Assists in attaining department goals by completing special projects as outlined by supervisor.
May also assemble various items.
