About The Position
The Rockport Public School District serves approximately 650 PreK-12th grade students on a two-building campus located in the picturesque coastal community of Rockport, MA which is 40 miles northeast of Boston at the tip of Cape Ann. The Rockport Public Schools is seeking a qualified applicant to a fill a Paraprofessional position working with our students that require additional academic, social, emotional, and/or behavioral support. The paraprofessional will support students under the direction of a special education teacher and/or regular education teacher depending upon the assignment. Successful candidates will have a strong desire to work with students; possess the ability to to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents; and demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 183 days per RESSA Contract
