Accommodate the special needs of students with learning, physical, emotional/behavioral, and/or cognitive disabilities. Assist the teacher in providing students with equal access to district adopted core curriculum in various settings. Update the teacher(s) regarding student progress. Provide direct assistance to ensure appropriate care for students who are physically and/or medically fragile, including the provision of personal care needs. Assist in implementing instruction necessary for students to meet academic and behavioral expectations, and IEP goals. Assist with the preparation of, and work with specialized instructional materials. Duplicate and assemble instructional materials using office equipment, computer, and AV equipment. Incorporate the Six Pillars of Character Counts: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship Perform other related duties as assigned
