Paraprofessional- 2025-26 SY Part-time | Paterson, NJ | Dawn Treader School & St. Gerard School Year 2025-2026 15 hours a week; 4 days a week How you'll be there for students: Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor. Requirements
- High school diploma; 2 years or 30 hours of college experience preferred.
- Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals.
- Knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students.
- Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components.
- Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports.
- Monitor students' materials use and behavior to keep them on task.
- Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families.
- Other duties as assigned.
