QUALIFICATIONS Education EMT course graduate Paramedic school graduate Experience/Skills Possesses general knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and the therapeutic modalities for intervention of each specific arrhythmia Shows an overall understanding of Emergency Room patient care practices Possesses or is willing to acquire the special knowledge and skills required to implement safe, immediate and effective care to each Emergency Room patient Functions well in stressful and true emergency situations Demonstrates understanding and tact in dealing with patients and visitors Cooperates with law enforcement agencies, coroners, physicians, and all other hospital staff Identifies and assesses problems and situations accurately while exercising good judgment.
