About The Position

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees. We are currently seeking a part-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Darien Fire/EMS Department, Sharon Fire & Rescue and Walworth Fire & Rescue contract. The basic function of the Paramedic/Firefighter to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the EMT level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Requirements

Paramedic License
Wisconsin Firefighter I Certificate
1 year experience
CPR Certified
21 Years of age
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred (Metro will train)
PALS preferred (Metro will train)
Wisconsin Firefighter II Certification
Wisconsin Fire Inspector Certification
Wisconsin Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification
Wisconsin Fire Officer I Certification
