About The Position

Senior Trial Paralegal with 8+ years of experience to provide support to attorneys from case inception through discovery, litigation, settlement, trial and/or appeal. Solid experience and knowledge in civil litigation and trial preparation required. This position will offer hybrid flexibility, after onsite training period.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Paralegal experience in civil litigation
• Required experience in tracking hours and billing time
• Must also be proficient in MS Word and have knowledge of Code of Civil Procedure
• Must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, reliable and professional

Nice To Haves

• Experience in electronic trial presentation software helpful

• Subpoena preparation and notices to consumer
• Medical records review and chronologies
• Witness interviews
• Deposition summaries
• Research
• Handling of small claims matters
• Organizing and working up case for trial
• Issuing subpoenas
• Notices to attend
• Tracking witnesses
• Preparation of exhibit and witness lists and binders
• Preparation of CACIs
• Preparing discovery notebooks and trial notebooks
