About The Position

This role starts immediately and provides full-time paralegal support to a fast-paced civil and collections-focused legal team. You’ll assist with drafting, research, case management, and litigation preparation while working closely with attorneys and clients LOCATION : Portland, OR SALARY : $30-34/hr. Requirements

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and common legal/practice management platforms.
  • Strong research abilities using court databases, public records tools, and online resources
  • 2+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, collections, creditor rights, foreclosure, or related civil practice
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, accurate, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • PerfectLaw, Best Case, OECI, and or other collections or practice management platforms is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, judgment-related filings, and supporting exhibits
  • Manage client intake materials, case files, and documentation required by courts and firm procedures
  • Conduct legal and factual research, including public-record searches, database inquiries, and online investigations
  • Support attorneys through case tracking, communication with clients and third parties, and preparation for hearings or other proceedings
