About The Position

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, prepare briefs, conduct legal research for trial preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. If you're interested in advancing your paralegal career with opportunities for growth, we want to hear from you. Organize & Manage Matters: Maintain files, docket events, and ensure smooth case flow. Draft, Prepare, & Review Documents: Prepare trusts, wills, and estate planning documents with precision for attorney review. Support Clients: Communicate updates, gather information, and assist clients with form completion. Document & Case Support: Prepare affidavits, pleadings, subpoenas, deposition notices, legal briefs, and correspondence under attorney supervision. Administrative Support: Assist with e-filing, phone coverage, scheduling, and notarizing documents. Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly case management meetings and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture. Most Important: 2-5 years of Florida Estate Planning experience, including trust drafting, is non-negotiable. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Florida Estate Planning experience, including trust drafting, is non-negotiable. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Typing speed: 50–100 WPM required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong preference for candidates with advanced paralegal education or certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with WealthCounsel and/or Westlaw Form Builder (or similar document-building software).
  • Experience with Clio Manage (or similar case management software).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) preferred.
