What you can expect: The Prudential Law Department is forming an exciting new legal services team and we are looking for motivated and high achieving paralegals to join this team. The team will provide a wide array of legal support to various law departments within Prudential. The candidates will work on the team with like paralegal professionals, that partner with attorneys and interact with business clients of all levels regarding a variety of legal topics, requests, and regulatory issues. This is an opportunity where you can broaden your knowledge and expertise in many different facets of law in a high-paced collaborative in-house corporate law environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant paralegal experience or equivalent experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • A bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
  • Solid legal research and writing skills.
  • Current proficiency in Microsoft Word, EXCEL, and Westlaw is a necessity.
  • Desire to be an engaged team member on a high performing team with a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to operate in a fast-paced environment; ability to work independently and handle confidential matters.
  • Desire to learn and be exposed to new areas or subjects.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in financial services preferred, but not required.
