About The Position
The Paralegal and Legal Operations Specialist supports the Office of General Counsel (OGC) in a position that requires traditional paralegal and legal operations expertise. This role is essential to the efficient and effective delivery of legal services across UVM Health. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, technologically adept, and committed to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal or legal operations role, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Proficiency with legal technology platforms (e.g., Hyland, Legal Tracker, Westlaw CoCounsel).
- Proficiency with Artificial Intelligence tools and ability to remain current in rapidly changing AI landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Good humor, humility, and a love of collaborating closely with others.
