About The Position
Under the direction of an administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher and specialist, assist in the instructional support, behavioral support, personal care, and supervision of students with a wide range of disabilities. Provide intensive individualized services; participate in behavioral modification and management of students; assist students with and demonstrate proper physical care and hygienic needs; provide support with classroom organization, management, and safety. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Passing the Paraeducator Competency Examination
- One (1) year of experience working with special needs students
