About The Position

LCRA is looking for a motivated individual to join our panel fabrication team! This position plays an important role in the electric utility industry of central Texas. As a panel fabricator, you will construct and wire transmission-related electrical panels, sub panels and cabinets. Requirements

Zero or more years of experience in construction, assembly or maintenance of relay and control panels or equipment or relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of electrical circuit theory.
Skill in use of handheld manual and power tools.
Basic skill in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints.

Responsibilities

Install wiring in relay control, substation panels and cabinets according to blueprints.
Ensure that all components and wiring are built to the exact engineering plans, standards and specifications.
Inspect and maintain equipment in assigned work area.
Maintain tools and equipment and a clean work area.
Support process improvement program and is encouraged to explore efficiency improvements.
Complete work within budget and deadlines.
