About The Position

The Pan Washer is a vital support position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency of press and lamination equipment through proper cleaning and handling of parts, tools, and materials. This role requires attention to safety protocols while operating automated cleaning equipment and handling sensitive materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments. Success in this position depends on maintaining organized work areas, following proper documentation procedures, and providing timely service to internal customers. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor and is for 3rd Shift 11pm to 7am.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated stable work history
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency including email
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass pre-employment assessments
• Drug screening required
• Background check required
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring tools
• Strong time management capabilities
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Familiarity with safety protocols
• Basic mathematical skills
• Understanding of production processes and basic machine operations

• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and squat
• Proficiency in grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor skills
• Manual dexterity for machine operation and maintenance
• Ability to climb ladders safely
• Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift and pallet jacks

Responsibilities

• Assisting production departments with crucial equipment
• Performance of routine safety inspections and monitoring conditions
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Handling sensitive material in a safe manner
• Responsible for maintaining the area or areas that they work in and around
• Aide in the Press initiatives and goals
• Willing to cross train, as support, in various departments
• Ability to utilize basic computer functions, for effective communication throughout the plant
• Must possess skills and knowledge to complete forms and paperwork that will properly account for material being utilized within the department
• Ensure timely and quality service to internal customers
• Willing to work overtime when required
