About The Position

As a core member of our frozen warehouse and distribution team, you will be expected to: Work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet Prepare pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers Work as a team to support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety As your employer, Perry’s will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Minimum education of a High School diploma, GED or HSE
Experience working with PIV.
Schedule flexibility to work various shifts as needed, especially for training
Ability to abide by GMP and SQF requirements.
Ability to legibly complete paperwork.
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish set goals
Work with a safety mindset and in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Work in an extreme cold climate, reaching temperatures below -20° F
Lift up to 50 lbs., throughout entire shift, multiple days a week
Work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet starting at ground level to over the shoulder height
Stack pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers
Use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to overhead at times
Push/pull 2000 lbs., for an extended amount of time using pallet jacks manual or electric
Stand/walk for extended periods throughout assigned shift while maintaining footing on slippery floors
Work as a team to support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
All other tasks as outlined by supervisor
