Purpose Statement The Robotic Palletizing Operator Associate will control all aspects of finished goods palletizing while adhering to all plant and food safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required. Technical School graduate preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance environment with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have the ability to train other associates in palletizing and conveying operations
  • Must have the desire and ability to operate as a member of a Self-Directed work team
  • Has an awareness of and the ability to follow Associate Safety guidelines
  • Has an awareness of and the ability to follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines
  • Understands proper equipment and conveying operating and adjusting procedures
  • Must have the ability to work in and contribute to Production Improvement, Associate Involvement and Temporary Teams, as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Technical School graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment in the palletizing room, which includes the programming, troubleshooting, and documentation of all functions and equipment.
  • Responsible for basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and other minor maintenance of all palletizing, conveying, and stretch wrapping equipment, which includes proper lubrication of equipment, proper tracking of belts, and start-up procedures.
  • Maintain a valid material handling equipment certification.
  • Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP, AIB, and company safety guidelines.
  • Perform any other miscellaneous duties assigned.
  • Will be required to work in other areas as necessary.
