About The Position

The Reman Build Technician is responsible for repairing and rebuilding pallets to company specifications in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to consistently meet production standards while working independently or alongside a partner. Your work directly supports operational efficiency, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, construction, or a similar hands-on role (preferred)
Strong understanding of safe tool and equipment operation
Knowledge of operating and maintaining a variety of saws (preferred)
Ability to work with high-powered equipment in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Proven ability to meet or exceed daily production goals and deadlines
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and imperfections in pallets
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience will be considered in place of formal education
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
Ability to work independently or cooperatively with a partner

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Repair and rebuild pallets by following written pallet design instructions and quality standards
Work independently or with a partner to complete daily production goals
Meet or exceed minimum pallet production expectations
Perform pallet construction and repair involving strenuous manual labor
Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, nail guns, and power tools safely and efficiently
Adjust nail gun placement quickly and precisely to ensure accurate assembly
Identify pallet types and grades, and distinguish between usable and unusable boards
Lift, stack, and stage finished pallets according to production requirements
Stamp repaired pallets with assigned employee identification number
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift
Thoroughly clean and reset the work area at the end of each shift
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and equipment guidelines
