About The Position

CGI has an immediate need for a Palantir Foundry Data Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We are seeking a skilled and driven Data Engineer to lead the implementation of Palantir Foundry applications. This role involves designing ontologies, building data pipelines, and developing operational dashboards to support real-time analytics and compliance workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and Palantir engineers to deliver high-impact solutions, integrating Foundry with enterprise systems and external APIs. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of secure data exchange and cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology modeling, Pipelines, and Code Workbooks
  • Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL
  • Familiarity with integrating Foundry with AWS Data Lake and external APIs (e.g., LexisNexis, TREPP)
  • Experience developing secure data exchange mechanisms (SFTP, SSH, etc.)
  • Understanding of data integration patterns and security protocols (SSO, TLS, Zscaler)
  • Ability to support GenAI chatbot capabilities and real-time analytics
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
  • Minimum of 5 years in software or data engineering roles
  • At least 2 years of direct experience with Palantir Foundry
