About The Position

Job Summary: We are seeking Painting Technicians to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Painting Technicians will be to prepare surfaces for painting, apply paint coatings, and ensure quality finishes on various structures. Job Summary: We are seeking a Crew Lead Painter to oversee and lead a team of painters in completing various painting projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in painting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure quality work is delivered on time.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting and surface preparation.
Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Strong communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces when necessary.
Commercial Construction Experience (5+ years), preferably restaurant
Ability to travel regionally (50-75%)
Clean driving record and personal transportation
Tools (drills, saws, hammers, ladders, cords, shop vac, caulking gun, etc). Specialty tools will be rented (concrete saw, jackhammer, etc)
Cell phone
Good communications skills, ability to scan, email photos and utilize apps from cell phone
Basic computer skills
Willingness to learn other skills
Proven experience as a painter with expertise in a variety of painting techniques.
Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to painting.
Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
Be able to pass a drug and background test.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
Mix and match paint colors to ensure desired shade and consistency.
Apply paint coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Follow safety protocols to protect oneself and others from hazardous materials.
Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain painting equipment and tools.
Manage and lead a team of painters in executing painting projects according to specifications.
Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide recommendations as needed.
Train new team members on painting techniques, safety protocols, and company procedures.
Ensure all painting work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
Maintain proper inventory of painting supplies and equipment.
Inspect work sites to ensure safety measures are followed and work is progressing as planned.
Address any issues or concerns that arise during projects and provide solutions in a timely manner.
