About The Position

As a Painter within the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in enhancing the appearance, durability, and quality of manufactured products through expert application of various painting techniques. Your work will ensure that surfaces are properly prepared, primed, and finished to meet both aesthetic and functional standards. You will collaborate closely with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency while adhering to safety and quality protocols. The role demands precision and attention to detail to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes on diverse materials including drywall, fiberglass, and wood. Requirements

  • Proven experience in painting within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle detailed painting tasks.
  • Familiarity with drywall preparation and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to safely operate table saws and other woodworking or painting equipment.
  • Basic understanding of carpentry and fiberglass materials.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification or formal training in industrial painting or finishing techniques.
  • Experience with spray painting technology and equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications related to painting projects.
  • Prior experience working with fiberglass materials and specialized coatings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
  • Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other tools according to specifications.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as table saws and spray painting systems safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect finished surfaces for defects or inconsistencies and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed.
  • Collaborate with carpentry and production teams to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
