When we do everything in service of our patients and caregivers, no detail gets ignored. As a Painter, you will apply paint, stains and other service treatments to structural surfaces and property. A caregiver in this position works Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 a.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Ability to move/transport items weighing up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
  • Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
  • Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
  • Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures
  • Ability to work from heights.
  • Ability to work inside and outside.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience painting in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and property.
  • Prepare surfaces by washing, taping, mudding, patching, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishes.
  • Maintain existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition and properly store, clean and dispose of all materials, supplies equipment and waste.
  • Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations occasionally and as needed.
