About The Position
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Painter. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will be mechanically inclined, experienced commercial painter, possess an upbeat personality, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment. POSITION SUMMARY The primary role of the painter is assisting and contributing to the Facilities Department. Responsible for the painting, plastering and wallpapering of guest rooms & public areas of the Resort to ensure a safe, efficient and well maintained hotel environment.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent education with a minimum of one year of commercial painting experience.
- Experience installing and repairing drywall, plaster, and wallpaper.
- Ability to follow detailed and specific procedures and processes in completing department and/or project tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
