About The Position

The Philadelphia Cricket Club is looking for a reliable and skilled Painter to join the Maintenance Team. As the oldest country club in America, we have a lot to offer in terms of stability and growth as well as a great employee/member culture. The painter will be responsible for interior and exterior painting and re-painting of walls and ceilings. Repaint damage or deteriorated surfaces. Paint new work installed by others. Make light carpentry/masonry repairs in preparation for area to be painted. Touch up painted areas. Clean and prep painted areas. Complete special projects as assigned. Complete work requests that are made through the maintenance request application. Complete routine inspections as directed. Keep maintenance logs. Be aware of regulatory compliance of applicable health and safety laws. Respond to emergency situations. Maintain equipment and machinery used at the facilities.

Requirements

  • At least one year’s experience employed as a Painter.
  • Ability to utilize a variety of maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Ability to use CMMS work order system.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and willing to work long and flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs, moving the whole body, such as occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and handling materials.
  • Knowledge of regulatory laws governing facilities safety.
