The pay rate for this position starts at $17.00 per hour The painter will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of interior and exterior painted or treated wall and ceiling surfaces, in a manner that preserves the five-star appearance of the property. Requirements

  • Must have 4 years of professional painting experience, or equivalent.
  • High School or equivalent diploma required.
  • Must possess and maintain a current TN Driver’s License
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with management, team members, and guests in an informative and consistent manner.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic math.
  • Ensure all interior and exterior building surfaces are orderly, meticulous and five-star in appearance.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments regardless of temperature or weather.
  • May be required to work long hours.
  • Must be able to safely operate a golf cart, and/ or company vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Painting & caulking
  • Preparing walls and surfaces for painting, including sanding, pressure washing, and cleaning agent applications
  • Minor sheetrock installation, patching and repair
  • Light to minimal furniture restoration, i.e., sanding, staining, treating, and finishing
  • Minor wall treatment repair, i.e., wallpaper border repair, wallpaper seam repair and patching
  • Mold and mildew abatement and treatment
  • Maintaining current supply inventories, as well as, paint color, texture, and finish schedules
  • Some general maintenance
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work environment during and after final completion of work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
  • Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
