About The Position

Plantation Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is an EEO Employer - M/F/Disability/Protected Veteran Status POSITION: MAINTENANCE - PAINTER REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION: To carry out works required to repair, maintain, and improve the facility and grounds of Plantation Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in order to ensure that we provide an excellent customer experience at all times. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: 1. General cleanliness and maintenance of building and grounds. 2. Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business. 3. Other related duties as assigned SPECIFIC DUTIES: 1. General cleanliness and maintenance of building and grounds: A. Cleans and maintains stairways, storage areas, boiler room and outdoor areas. B. Keeps grounds clear of debris and properly maintained. C. Performs repairs on doors, walls, floors, and ceilings. D. Completes maintenance work order requests in a timely manner. E. Painting, caulking, drywall, pressure washing and sealing MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION: Mobility: Lifting: Up to 50 lbs. Climbing: Bending: Pushing: Up to 150 lbs. Standing/Sitting: Approx. ¾ of time of standing Reaching: Hearing: Speaking: Communicates clearly with other employees ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION: · Inside/Outside: Repairs and maintains inside and outside · Heat/Cold: Repairs and maintains inside and outside · Wet/Humidity: · Noise Vibrations: Equipment make noises · Fumes/Odors/Chemical Exposure: Occasional with proper breathing apparatus · Other Hazards: Climbs ladders, works on roof Freedom from illegal use of drugs, and freedom from use and effects of the use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
